Description:
Maintain and update benefits configuration in PeopleSoft
Running daily Benefits Administration process
Administration of various employee benefits programs, such as medical, dental, vision, group life and AD&D, disability, FSA, Transportation & Parking, 401 (k), Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Evidence of Insurability, and leave of absence administration
Heavy customer service interactions with Business Partners, employees, and carriers/vendors such as answering employee’s benefits inquiries and researching claims issues
Benefit termination notification processing
Assist with performing system and payroll audits; identify problems and initiate necessary corrections
Conduct employee presentations regarding company sponsored benefit programs
Participate in the annual open enrollment process
Generate ad-hoc, monthly and/or quarterly reports upon request

Requirements:
Knowledge and understanding of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within benefits and payroll
Knowledge of pertinent federal and state regulations affecting employee benefit programs such as ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA and Section 125
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, and with advanced skills in Excel and PeopleSoft
Prefer a bachelor’s degree and 2 – 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
