Description:
Volt Professional Search is currently recruiting for a very large manufacturing client located in the Irvine area. The role of the Accounting Manager is to support month-end closing processes and work on consolidated financial statements. This is more of a project related position working closely with the Controller and other accounting department managers ensuring accurate reporting and strategic financial analysis. Job functions will include review of IFRS compliance, reinforcement of policies related to internal controls and cross training of staff. The accounting manager will have 2-3 direct reports and provide professional development of all accounting staff.

Requirements:
Qualified applicants will have a minimum of 5 years progressive accounting and finance experience within a large manufacturing organization which includes at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. Candidates with a Big 4 background and an active CPA are encouraged to apply. Those with demonstrated process improvement capabilities in the areas of consolidated financial statements and month-end close process are highly desired. Candidates MUST have experience using SAP and be comfortable working on special projects. A Bachelors degree in Accounting or related discipline is required.
