The mission of ASWA is to enable women in all accounting and related fields to achieve their full personal, professional and economic potential and to contribute to the future development of their profession.

The American Society of Women Accountants represents professional women in accounting and finance and provides them an opportunity for networking and continuing professional education (CPE) with peers at the local, regional and national level.

MEMBER OF THE YEAR!

Adriana Estrada

As an Accounting and Finance recruiter with Volt's Accounting division, Adriana became part of ASWA as a way to continue her learning and grow her resources within all areas of the discipline. She has participated with ASWA events for the past few years and officially became a member in 2009. She currently serves on the Board of Directors as VP of Communications and handles monthly newsletter updates and distribution, maintains the chapter website updates and manages ASWA OC's LinkedIn group. Adriana also participates in representing the chapter with Cal State Fullerton's Beta Alpha Psi organization encouraging students to get involved and utilize our valuable resources within ASWA. With 15 years experience in recruiting and placing accounting professionals, Adriana believes networking within ASWA has offered tremendous learning opportunities and the ability to meet many wonderful individuals. She looks forward to continuing her participation as a member volunteering for various activities and upcoming events.

Adriana holds a Bachelors degree in Communications from Cal Poly Pomona and participates in a variety of networking opportunities to keep up to date on current situations surrounding the accounting industry. She is honored to be nominated along with 2 other exceptional women who have contributed to her positive experience within ASWA's Orange County Chapter.
